The rule of wiring harness burnout in the wiring harness processing plant is: in the power system circuit, where the wire harness is grounded, the wiring harness burns to the place where the burned out and intact parts are connected. When the wiring part of the electrical equipment, it indicates that the electrical equipment is faulty.

1. The battery cable is burned out

(1) If only part of the battery cable is burned out, check the parts that are in contact with the burned part of the cable, and replace the battery cable after cleaning the burrs.

(2) If all the battery cables are burned out, it means that the starter is malfunctioning. Connect a test light between the + pole of the starter solenoid switch and the positive electrode of the battery.

2. The wiring harness between the generator + extreme starter battery terminal is burned out

Stop the generator, remove the lead wire of the generator + pole, connect a power cord between the battery + pole, and the other end is in contact with the generator + pole, if there is a spark, it means that the generator is malfunctioning, if there is no spark, it means that The wiring harness is malfunctioning.

3. The wiring harness and relay lead are burnt out

(1) Turn off the power switch, remove the relay, leave it in the air, and connect a test light between the relay housing and the body. If the light is on, it means the relay is malfunctioning; if the light is off, perform the following steps.

(2) Turn on the power switch. If the test light does not light up, it means that the relay is not faulty. Just replace the wiring harness. If the test light shows that the relay is faulty, the relay should be replaced.
